This drilling rig was recently pulled in for service for equipment upgrades. The rig has drilled to 12,000 TVD, 14,800 TD. prior to the upgrade. The upgrades are as follows:
• New TFI-1000 Draw-Works and associated systems
• Drilling Line increased from 1-1/8 inch to 1-1/4 inch
• Rebuild crown and block sheave system
• Fitted with mast extension to 137’
• Fitted for Top Drive system
• 27-1/2 inch National Rotary Table w/ Spilt Master Bushing
• Improved 1000 Barrel mud tank and mixing system
Structure and equipment overview as follows:
• Mast: BHL 131’ Cantilever, 550,000 lb. Static hook load.
• Substructure- 22’W x 19’ H x 49’ L Box on Box w/ Beams.
• Drive Engines: two Caterpillar C-15 Diesel Engines=Electric Start-Radiator-Gauges- Twin Disc F-11561-TC Torque Converters
• Mud pumps two or three: F.E.S MZ-9 Triplex Mud Pumps
• Mud Pump Power: Caterpillar D-398 Diesel Engines w Air Start
This rig can be leased with the following optional upgrades:
• TESCO 250HMI 475 Top Drive or equivalent
• Three 1000HP Triplex Mud Pumps/ Two 1000HP Standard
• 141’ Mast
• 10,000 psi BOP/5,000psi Standard
