General Unit Description.
The unit is designed for following operating data:
21 m3/min = 740 cfm +/- 5% Nitrogen with 95% purity and a discharge pressure of 351 bara = 5000 psi.
The unit will be driven by a diesel engine. Screw and piston compressors are directly coupled on one shaft-end of the prime mover for a synchronous output. An electric Generator is coupled on the second shaft end of the prime mover.
The compressor unit is installed in a container and suitable for heavy duty oil/gas-field operation. The control system of the unit will be fully- automatic for heavy duty operation. The cooling system consists of three closed separate circuits.
The screw-oil is cooled with a direct oil/air-heat exchanger. The compressor coolant (water with antifreeze) and the diesel-engine coolant (water with antifreeze) are cooled with one common coolant/air-heat exchanger each.
The ambient as well as the suction temperature will be in the range of -40°C +35°C. The operation of the compressor unit is allowed at temperatures inside the container above +2°C.
The unit is completely assembled on common base frame and will be tested under full load beforeshipment ex works. The unit is designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with valid and applicable standards as
DIN, VDI, VDE-ÖVE, IEC, ISO and QA-System
which has been certified by DNV corresponding to ISO 9001.
