The unit consists of a skid unit with the HECM (High Energy Cement Mixer). The cementing unit is a high horsepower twin triplex pumping unit which is equipped to operate at the work site independently of other equipment. The unit can be used for a wide variety of fluid pumping operations. The unit is mounted on a skid. Deck mounted equipment consists of two main diesel engines, automatic transmissions, triplex down hole pumps, high energy recirculating mixer, centrifugal pumps for mixing and pressurizing the triplex pump suctions, displacement tanks and complete operator station and control systems. Hydraulic system is driven from the main diesel engines, the engines provide power for driving the centrifugal pumps. Data recording equipment and instrumentation provide for measurement of pump rate, pressure, density and monitoring equipment is included which will allow the recording of job data and downloading reports to a PC computer. Typical operations include oil well cementing, acidizing treatments, solvent pumping, pressure testing, and miscellaneous fluid pumping. The main features of the cementing unit are: · Operating temperature range from -20°C to 40°C · HECM (High Energy Cement Mixing) system with cement density control · One hydraulically driven mixing/ recirculating pump · One hydraulically driven pressurizer pump · One hydraulically driven water pump · Twin 1,5mÑ open displacement tank · Two compartment mixing(~1mÑ) and averaging(~2mÑ) tank. · Full safety shut-down The components incorporated into the cementing unit are arranged to provide reasonable access for maintenance and ease of operation. The triplex pumps are positioned so high pressure fluids aredischarged away from the unit and the operator’s console. 2 PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION 2.1 Principles of Operation The main deck engines drive the automatic transmissions to the reduction gear box of the triplex pumps. The triplex pumps manifold is configured to route fluid to the unit discharge or to release pressure and/or re-circulate fluid to the displacement tanks. A hydraulic system provides hydraulic power to operate the centrifugal pumps. Centrifugal Pumps are used for cement slurry mix water, re-circulation of cement slurry and pressurization of the triplex pumps. 2.2 Major Components Main Engines Caterpillar or equivalent Transmissions Allison or Caterpillar Triplex pumps SPM or equivalent Hydraulic power system Mode: Automatic/manual 2.2.1 Diesel Engines · Model: Caterpillar, MTU or Deutz · Emissions Tier 3a with the a special permission to use it in Europe · Rated Power: ~475 HP @2100RPM · Cooling system: Radiator and Fan · Lube oil pump, filter and cooling system · Fuel pump and filter system · Heavy-duty air filter, dry element type · Emergency kill for air intake shutdown The type of engines can change (it depends on the delivery time) but it will be an equivalent engine to the CAT C13 if we have to change the engine. 2.2.2 Transmissions Allison 4700 OFS automatic transmission, completes with fill tube, dip stick gauge, torque converter, and 1810 series output flange. Gear ratios as follows: 1 st gear 7.63 2-nd gear 3.51 3 rd gear 1.91 4-th gear 1.43 5-th gear, 1.00 Gear ratios are selected manually, Reverse - Blocked out The type of transmission can change (it depends on the delivery time) but it will be an equivalent transmission to the Allison OFS 4700 if we have to change the transmission. 2.2.3 Triplex pumps Type SPM Model TWS 600 Plunger size each with 4 1/2” Plunger Maximum Working Pressure 10000 psi Maximum Flow Rate 1.600 l/min Cement Mixing Density 1 .0 to 2.7 S.G, Rating Max. Brake HP 600 BHP Stroke: 6 inch The type of Triplex pump can change (it depends on the delivery time) but it will be an equivalent pump to the TWS 600 if we have to change the pump. 2.2.4 Oilfield Skid All equipment is mounted on a custom-built heavy-duty skid. The skid comes complete with four lifting lugs, one on each corner of the skid for use with slings and clevices (not included). The skid will incorporate a roof canopy, which will support the liquid additive storage as well as the fuel tank. Approximate dimensions are as follows: Height: 3,5m Width: 2,5m Length: 7m Weight: 24.000kg Note: Dimensions and weight vary according to final configuration. 2.3 Hydraulic system The transmission PTO`s drive the hydraulics of the complete system. · (1) open loop system/ metric valve and agitator · (3) Closed loop hydrostatic transmissions 2.4 Fluid Handling System 2.4.1 Displacement Tanks · Two Compartments, 1.5mÑ · Open Top with Splash Rail and Bracing · Steel Construction · Permanently Mounted Gauge Markers in Metric 2.4.2 Mixing and Averaging Tank · Steel Construction · Capacity of Mixing Tank ~1mÑ · Capacity of Averaging Tank ~2mÑ · The Averaging Tank is equipped with an Agitator 2.4.3 Suction Line Sumps Included · Fill Lines and Valves Installed to Each Tank · Release, Return Lines Installed to Allow Flow to Either Tank · Quick Opening Drain Valves Installed 2.4.4 Low Pressure Manifold · Steel 5" Diameter Piping · Victaulic Couplings Installed to Allow For Ease Of Disassembly and Cleaning · Weco Unions Installed 2.4.5 Centrifugal Pumps · Centrifugal pumps will be MISSION or equivalent 2.4.6 Densitometer · One Micromotion NRD Densitometer will be installed at the recirculation line 2.4.7 Triplex Suction Manifold · Independent 5“ Suction Manifold for each Triplex · Manifold allows Suction from the Cement Mixing Tank, Displacement Tanks or External Sources · Equipped with Victaulic Couplings for ease of disassembly for Cleaning 2.4.8 High Pressure Release Manifold · Release Manifold Connection to Discharge fluid cylinder of each Triplex Pump · Maximum Working Pressure of 10,000 psi · Two Each 2x2"x 10,000 psi Choke Valves installed in Release Line To Allow Fluid to be delivered into the return manifold on the displacement tanks 2.4.9 High Pressure Discharge Manifold · Discharge Manifold Connection To Discharge fluid cylinder of Each Triplex Pump · Maximum Working Pressure Of 10,000 psi · Manifold Arrangement Allows Discharge From Each Pump Separately or Combined · Each Pump Discharge Has 2"x2" High Pressure Plug Valve Installed · Safety Relief Valve Installed On Manifold 2.5 Data Acquisition Digital display console containing digital indicators displays the pumping pressure, pumping rates, total volumes pumped and fluid density.
