Jeff Weber 432-687-5445. Removed from Jack-up.
You know i am DE-commissioning a jack-up rig at Belungkor, Desaru since January. There is some great stuff inside the rig as they basically left everything when the rig were sold to us. We were working on the other part of the rig and removing all the machinery's and now we are focusing onthe accommodation part and dismantling work is in progress.
I have a fully furnish accommodation and plenty of things to sell away and i am looking for someone whocan take all or a big chunk of it.
1. A complete galley equipment with all the electrical oven, stove, grill, deep fryer, fridge, various stoves, coffee makers and a few other things that i don't know its function. The brands are also something new to
me but as far as i know, ships and rigs never buy Sony, Toshiba, Samsung etc because it's fragile and they cannot affort to have breakdowns. The equipment's would be some special brand which is built to last atleast 20 year minimum lifespan. All are in stainless steel and everything from the cabinets, racks, washing basin is to be taken.
2. 2 huge cold room with 3 compartments of about 4 feet x 8 feet each with different type of usage suchas vegetable room, meat room, chillers etc. We have 2 unit attached together and we can dismantle it with ease and load it unto a truck.
3. Cooking utensils like pans, plates, big whatever they call all this as i really don't know their names. There were 102 people lived on the rig at any one time so i think you know what are the basic utensils that they will have.
4. If you are interested in the tables and chairs, which i forgot to take pictures, it is also could be counted in. The tables usually have legs that is bolted to the floor so that it doesn't move during bad weather. It'sall very high quality materials and different shapes and height.
5. I think there are 4 or 5 different types of washing basins for different use and dishwasher and a basinthat crush and grind the leftover foods to be washed out to sea.
6. Whatever the electrical connections, control boxes and main switch board that you think it's necessary, please take it.
7, All the other cooking stuff that was inside there small, different shapes and colors, different waterpurifiers, water cooler etc also can be given away.
1. There are many stuff there which i think is useful for clinics as what a ship's hospital do is almostsimilar to a clinic. We treat patient's for minor wounds, infections, broken bones and light injuries.
1. We have about 98 wooden bed and more mattresses on the rig but after telling about ship's flu bug idoubt you guys will be interested. Each room has a steel cabinet for 2 people to keep their clothes, a 24inch TV, a small table and chair.
2. I think there is about 50 bathrooms with full fittings which can be removed. Anyone opening a budget hotel for 100 people will strike a jackpot.
3. The bed also comes with 2 big drawers/compartment under the bed for personnel effects
A complete gym set with a lot of free weights or good quality and one full workout set. Also other gymstuff like treadmill etc
1. We have about 8 types of container cabins fitted on the port and starboard side of the accommodation when they increased the the crew on board the rig.
2. A few cabins which are called condo's because it's a luxury room for high rank people
3. Our Gym is actually a 40 foot container with full interior designs of a gym.
4. The training room which has a big oval shape table for 15 people and 4 desk top computers, printersand wall cabinets etc etc
5. Document's storage room is a container with racks and cabinets.
6. I think we have a total of 8 containers and all had been lifted from the rig and resting on the yard.
7. Every container is furnished, has its own electrical panel, plugs, lights, sockets, split unit air cond and sealed wall panel.
8. These containers are not like the container office or storage containers that can be bought for 5 k or 10
k for land usage. These containers are specially designed and approved by the classification society suchas ABS, DNV or LLOYD"S. Even their dimension are different than the standard containers which is 20
ft x 8 ft x 8 ft or 40 ft x 8 ft x 8 ft. Our cabins varies in sizes, like the gym would be about 40 feet x 12feet x 10 feet and Training room is 40 ft x 10 ft x 8 ft. The look spacious and all for sale.
