THIS COILED TUBING UNIT WILL CONSIST OF FOUR (4) MAIN COMPONENTS, ONE (1) CONTROL CABIN (2) POWER PACK SKID ASSEMBLY; THREE (3) SKID MOUNTED REEL ASSEMBLY, FOUR (4) INJECTOR, BOP, GUIDE ARCH AND POWER HOSE REEL SKID ASSEMBLY.

POWER PACK SKID:

2.2.1 YOUR CHOICE DIESEL ENGINE 325 HP RATED, EXHAUST SYSTEM TO BE WRAPPED TO COMPLY WITH USCG REQUIREMENTS. LOW OIL PRESSURE, HIGH WATER TEMPERATURE AND LOSS OF COOLANT SHUTDOWN SYSTEM INSTALLED. ENGINE TO BE AIR STARTED. EMERGENCY AIR INTAKE KILL. FOUR POINT LIFT

2.2.2 TRIPLE OUTPUT GEARBOX TO DRIVE FOLLOWING PUMPS:

2.2.2.1 BI-DIRECTIONAL AXIAL PISTON PUMP FOR INJECTOR DRIVE, 100 GPM NOMINAL FLOW.


2.2.2.2 VANE HYDRAULIC PUMPS FOR ALL OTHER FUNCTIONS. FUNCTIONS TO INCLUDE; TUBING REEL POWER, LEVELWIND OVERRIDE, INJECTOR CHAIN TENSION & TRACTION, LEVELWIND LIFT CYLINDER, HOSE REEL SUPPLIES, CONTROL CABIN LIFT CYLINDERS, BOP AND STRIPPER CONTROLS.

2.2.2.2 ALL SUCTION AND PRESSURE PORTS OFF OF PUMPS TO BE OF SUFFICIENT SIZE.

2.2.7 ALL NECESSARY HOSES BETWEEN POWER SUPPLY AND CONTROL COMPONENTS.

2.2.8 THE ABOVE VALES PLUS THE CONTROLS FOR THE ENGINE (i.e. ENGINE THROTTLE, NORMAL KILL, EMERGENCY KILL, OIL PRESSURE, WATER TEMP., AND TACHOMETER) TO BE LOCATED AT THE LOCAL ENGINE CONTROL PANEL.


3.0 CONTROL CABIN

3.1 TELESCOPING CONTROL CABIN. FOUR POINT LIFT

3.2 ONE (1) SIDE ACCESS DOOR THAT ELEVATES WITH CABIN. CABIN TO INCORPORATE WINDOW, RAIN GUTTER AND STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE. FRONT WINDOW WITH RAIN GUTTER. WINDSHIELD TO BE ¼” SAFETY GLASS. LARGE SLIDING TYPE WINDOWS ON SIDE WALLS. LADDERS TO GROUND.

3.2.1 TWO (2) EXTERIOR FLOOD LIGHTS (12VDC) TO BE INSTALLED ON FRONT AND BELOW ROOFLINE OF CABIN, ONE (1) INTERIOR LIGHT.

3.2.2 CAPTAIN’S CHAIR PROVIDED FOR OPERATOR COMFORT.

3.2.3 CABIN TO BE INSULATED AND LINED WITH WHITE PANELS.

3.4.5 PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE WITH ISOLATION AND GAUGES FOR THREE (3) INJECTION TRACTION CIRCUITS.

3.4.6 CONTROL FOR INJECTOR SPEED AND DIRECTION.

3.4.7 SELECTOR VALVE FOR INJECTOR SPEED CONTROL AND INJECTOR BRAKE.

3.4.8 GAUGE FOR INJECTOR BRAKE PRESSURE.

3.4.9 PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE FOR ADJUSTING INJECTOR LOAD.

3.4.10 NEEDLE VALVES FOR INJECTOR CHAIN OILER.

3.4.11 HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGE (4”) FOR INJECTOR PRESSURE.

3.4.12 HYDRAULIC VALVE, 3-BANK FOR REEL CONTROL. I.E. REEL PAY – OFF OF TAKE-UP, AND LEVELWIND OVERRIDE AND LEVELWIND RAISE AND LOWER.

3.4.13 RELIEF VALVE FOR REEL TENSION CONTROL.

4.0 TUBING REEL

4.1 SKID MOUNTED, REEL DRUM DESIGN. NOMINAL TUBING CAPACITY IS 18,000 FEET OF 1.5” TUBING, FLANGES HAVE EXPANDED METAL PANELS REEL DRUM IS LOCKED INTO POSITION BY MEANS OF CHAIN WITH EIGHT LOCKING POSITIONS AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE FLANGE.

4.2 FOUR-POINT LIFT SYSTEM FOR LIFTING LOADED REEL ASSEMBLY. CUSTOMER SUPPLIED LIFTING SLINGS.

4.3 NON-REMOVABLE CRASH FRAME.

4.4 REEL DRIVE AND LINE TENSIONING SYSTEM WITH PLANETARY DRIVE WITH INTERNAL BRAKE. MOTOR CASE DRAIN AND BRAKE PROTECTED BY POP-OFF RELIEF VALVES DRAINED INTO SKID PAN.

4.5 DIAMOND LEAD SCREW LEVELWIND SYSTEM WITH MECHANICAL DRIVE AND REMOTELY-OPERATED HYDRAULIC OVERRIDE LEVELWIND HYDRAULICALLY RAISED TO WORKING POSITION. DUAL-BAR CROSS TRACK DESIGN.

4.6 TUBING COUNTER WITH VERTICAL SLIDE MOUNT TO COMPENSATE FOR TUBING PAY – OFF ANGLE. COUNTER DRESSED FOR 1.5” TUBING AND READS IN FEET WITH ENCODER MOUNT.

4.7 30 GALLON TUBING LUBRICATOR RESERVOIR MOUNTED ON A PROTECTIVE PLATE.

4.8 10,000 PSI CIRCULATING SWIVEL, 1.5” BORE, SUITABLE FOR BOTH H2S AND NON-H2S SERVICE. FLANGE MOUNTED WITH COMPRESSION FACE SEAL.

4.9 NON-H2S EXTERNAL PLUMBING MANIFOLD USING INTEGRAL 1502 TYPE FITTINGS RATED AT 15,000 PSI. SHUTOFF VALVE PROVIDED FOR SWIVEL ISOLATION. STANDARD REEL PLUMBING CONFIGURATION.

4.10 NON-H2S INTERNAL PLUMBING MANIFOLD USING INTEGRAL 1502 TYPE FITTING RATE AT 15,000 PSI. SHUTOFF VALVE PROVIDED FOR SWIVEL ISOLATION. STANDARD REEL PLUMBING CONFIGURATION.

4.11 HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC CONNECTIONS HARD PLUMBED AT BULKHEAD PANEL.

4.12 ALL CHAINS HAVE REMOVABLE PROTECTIVE GUARDS. LEVELWIND CHAIN GUARD HAS HINGED COVER FOR QUICK CHANGE OUT OF SPROCKETS AND CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT.

4.13 GREASE FITTING BULKHEAD PANEL.

5.0 INJECTOR HEAD MODEL 60K

THE MODEL 60 IS DESIGNED FOR HANDLING COILED TUBING SIZES FROM 1” OF THROUGH 1.75” OD IT IS DESIGNED FOR OPERATION WITH BOTH OPEN LOOP AND CLOSED LOOP HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS. PULL CAPACITY IS AS FOLLOWS:

CLOSED LOOP PULL CAPACITY 60,000 LBS.

ALL STRUCTURES AND ANCILLARY SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED TO THE 60,000 LB. LOAD LIMIT. SNUBBING CAPACITY IS 30,000 LB. WITH INJECTOR IN LOW RANGE. THE CAPACITIES PROVIDED IN THE FOLLOWING ARE BASED ON CLOSED LOOP HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OPERATION.

5.1 LOW RANGE CAPACITY 60,000 LBS. MAX. PULL

5.3 INJECTOR SUPPLIED WITH CHAIN CAPABLE OF RUNNING 1-½” COILED TUBING.

5.4 INJECTOR INCORPORATES HEAVY DUTY ROLLER CHAIN LINKS WITH PRECISION CAST GRIPPER BLOCKS.

5.5 TWO (2) VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT DRIVE MOTORS, WITH INTEGRAL, WET MULTI DISC TYPE (SPRING APPLIED/PRESSURE RELEASED) BRAKE. PLANETARY GEAR REDUCTION DRIVE SYSTEM. HIGH PRESSURE INLINE FILTERS PROVIDED BETWEEN COUNTERBALANCE VALVES AND DRIVE SUPPLY QUICK DISCONNECTS.

5.6 REMOVABLE DRIVE CASE INCORPORATES TIMING GEARS TO MECHANICALLY INTERLOCK DRIVE CHAINS FOR SYNCHRONIZED SPEEDS. TIMING GEARS AND DRIVE SPROCKETS ARE SPLINED TO TOP DRIVE SHAFTS FOR PRECISE ALIGNMENT STRENGTH. OILER SYSTEM FOR CHAIN AND GEAR LUBRICATION.

5.7 TUBING TRACTION SYSTEM INCORPORATES THREE (3) INDEPENDENT SETS OF TWO (2) ROD TYPE HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS WITH ACCUMULATORS TO APPLY A BALANCED LOAD. TUBING TRACTION IS APPLIED TO THE CHAIN SYSTEM THROUGH THE TRACTION CYLINDER ROLLER SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR SELF-CENTERING FOR UNIFORM GRIPPER/TUBING LOADING. TRACTION SYSTEM IS REMOTE CONTROLLED FROM THE OPERATOR’S CONSOLE.

5.8 CHAIN DOWN OR OUTSIDE TENSION PROVIDED BY HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS WITH ACCUMULATORS, REMOTE CONTROLLED FROM OPERATOR’S CABIN.

5.9 ADJUSTABLE POSITION, 72” RADIUS, TUBING GUIDE ARCH.

5.10 WEIGHT INDICATOR GAUGE TO PROVIDE DIRECT PIPE HEAVY AND PIPE LIGHT WEIGHT INDICATION.

5.11 A FLANGE MOUNT FOR STRIPPER IS PROVIDED ON THE INJECTOR BASE. STRIPPER MOUNTING TO BE DETERMINED AT TIME OF ORDER.

5.12 COMPLETE INJECTOR ASSEMBLY MOUNTED ON STEEL BASE. COUPLING PANEL INSTALLED AT BOTTOM FRONT OF INJECTOR.

5.13 OUTER CRASH FRAME HAS A 4-POINT SLING AND MOTOR GUARDS.

6.0 POWER HOSE REEL / HOSES INCORPORATED IN INJECTOR SKID
